

The Spring School, inaugurated founded in 2018, is an initiative undertaken by the
Applied Distributed Systems research group, housed within the Faculty of Computer Science,
"Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iași, in collaboration with the Orange Educational Program.
This esteemed event is specifically dedicated to students at the bachelor's, master's, and
doctorate levels, as well as academic staff, from technically oriented faculties. It offers a
unique opportunity for participants to enhance their understanding and expertise in the realm of
Distributed Systems.
The program provides students with the opportunity to apply theoretical concepts learned at the
Faculty, while simultaneously developing technical abilities, teamwork skills, and enhancing
their communication proficiency in a professional working environment.
Main Topics: Cloud Computing and Open Infrastructures, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI for Distributed Applications, Telecommunications and Network Transformation.
The Spring School activities are scheduled between 31st March and 3rd April 2025, according to the program.

The Spring School program has been specifically designed to inspire and connect faculty members (students, teaching staff) who share an interest in the above-mentioned fields, within the Faculty of Computer Science of "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University Iași.
In this regard, an open invitation is extended to all members of the Informatica Universitaria Consortium, in addition to individuals affiliated with other technically-oriented Faculties across Romania and the Republic of Moldova, encouraging their participation in this academic program.
